By registering with SYP Alerts, you can choose to receive the latest news and appeals from your local police officers, local crime information and crime prevention advice – direct to you by email, text or voice message.

You can choose exactly what news you receive- it can be completely tailored to your interests and preferences.

Registering for alerts is free and once you have signed-up, you can choose how you want to receive the messages and what you want to receive messages about.

Alerts can also be translated into more than 100 languages, meaning if English isn’t your first language, you can still access the latest news and get to know your local policing team in a way that’s accessible for you.
